COURT RESULT: Kymet QERIMAJ, Sentenced to 32 Months in Prison

Marker for document offences, leads to 32-month prison sentence.
On Saturday 8th July 2023, Surrey Police’s Vanguard Road Safety officers successfully stopped a vehicle on Castle Street, Guildford, and detained driver Kymet QERIMAJ for driving without insurance and otherwise than in accordance with a licence.
Mr QERIMAJ was then further arrested for failing a roadside drugs test. Officers searched the vehicle and discovered 17 small bags of what was later confirmed to be cocaine.
Following an investigation by Vanguard Road Safety Team officers, Mr QERIMAJ was later charged with several offences including drug driving and possession of class A drugs with intent to supply.
On Friday 11th March 2025 at Aylesbury Crown Court, Mr Kymet QERIMAJ, 31 (30/04/1993), from Enfield, was found guilty of all drug offences and sentenced to 32 months in prison and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £187.
Mr QERIMAJ was previously disqualified for 12 months, and ordered to pay £421 in fines, costs and victim surcharge in relation to the driving offences.
Drink and Drug Driving is one of the top five offences contributing to death and serious injury on Surrey’s roads, with 220 people being killed or seriously injured between 2021 and 2023.
