COURT RESULT: Sarah ARNOLD of PICKFORD STREET, ALDERSHOT

Sarah ARNOLD of PICKFORD STREET, ALDERSHOT was stopped both by Met Police in Bromley and our #SPCasualtyReduction officers in Esher during 2022.

It was established that during both stops ARNOLD gave false details, attempting to give penalty points to an innocent person, however following some cross border investigation by our Casualty Reduction Team ARNOLD was found guilty of the following offences:

• Perverting the Course of Public Justice x2
• Drive a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence x2
• Use a motor vehicle on a road without third party insurance x2
• Use a vehicle with tyres with insufficient tread – less than 1.6mm
• Use a motor vehicle in a condition likely to cause danger or injury

ARNOLD, after failing to appear at Crown Court and being subsequently arrested, received a suspended prison sentence of 18 months,  two rehabilitation activity requirements was fined £651. Her driving licence has been endorsed with 17 penalty points resulting in a disqualification from driving for six months.
